Apple & chamomile tea cake
Another simple tea cake recipe for you! Give yourself a couple of minutes to throw the ingredients together to create a fresh and moist tea cake, gently scented and flavoured with a fresh chamomile taste scattered with soft apple chunks.

- 250 grams self raising flour
- 200 grams white sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 100 grams melted butter
- 100 mls hot water (for tea)
- 3 chamomile tea bags
- 3 apples, sliced
Add chamomile tea bags to hot water and leave to cool entirely
Add tea to mixing bowl along with all other cake ingredients and mix until mixture is smooth
Grease loaf pan and spoon in cake batter
Bake at 180c/355f for 35 mins or until cake is golden brown and cooked through
