A cosy, silent winter vlog with soft jazz, capturing my very first time in the snow! We spent a weekend in Marysville, just 90 minutes from Melbourne, with a snowy day at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort.

Healesville
On the way, we stopped in at Healesville, just over an hour from Melbourne’s CBD. We had Mexican at Laneway, tucked away off the main street, and enjoyed sitting in their lovely courtyard.
Afterwards, we popped into Kitchen & Butcher to stock up on cheeses and cured meats, the perfect snacks to take with us for later in the trip.
Marysville
We stayed in Marysville, just 20 minutes from Lake Mountain Alpine Resort. Since there’s no accommodation on the mountain itself, Marysville is the closest place to stay. The town itself is picturesque, with plenty of cosy accommodation options to choose from.

Snow time! The drive up the mountain was beautiful, winding through lush ferns and tall trees.
We visited Lake Mountain during the Christmas in July festivities, where snowmen, Santa, and winter magic filled the air. The mountain was blanketed with fresh snow, and we were lucky enough to be there while it was still falling!
This visual winter diary is my love letter to the season ❅ and now my winter wishlist feels complete.
